Information you submit

When you request a website, we may collect your business name, contact name, email address, phone number, current website address, business type, goals, and any notes you choose to provide.

Referral information

If you participate in the Referral Partner Program, we may collect your name, email, phone number, the referred business name, and any business contact information you choose to provide. Referral submitters should only provide non-public contact information when they have permission to share it.

How we use it

We use inquiry and referral information to review requests, contact prospective customers, attribute eligible referrals, administer referral rewards, understand what businesses need, prevent abuse, and operate or improve BearCat Websites. We do not sell inquiry or referral information to advertisers.

Onboarding, contracts and billing records

When you continue from an initial inquiry to website onboarding, we may collect additional business details, project instructions, files you choose to upload, the plan you select, content-rights confirmations, and a record of the agreement version and acceptance you submit. We use these records to assess, deliver and support the requested website service.

If you become a paying customer, the payment provider processes payment-method information under its own privacy practices. BearCat may retain necessary billing references, invoice and subscription status, transaction amounts, dates, and customer contact information to administer service and maintain business records. Please do not include payment-card numbers or passwords in website inquiry forms, uploads, or ordinary email messages.

Support, cancellation and account transition

When you send a support or cancellation request, we may retain the request, associated account identifiers, response history, and information needed for a lawful transfer of your domain or available customer-owned content. You may ask us about access or corrections by emailing ContactBearCats@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained for contractual, accounting, security, or legal reasons.

Website analytics

We may collect operational analytics such as page views, traffic source, QR campaign source, page paths, lead submissions, click-to-call actions, Website Assistant use, voice-navigation activity, offer engagement, repeat visits, and customer-feedback activity. We use this information to operate the service, show business customers what their website is doing, troubleshoot problems, and improve the experience. We do not use these analytics to create a consumer advertising profile.

Voice navigation and Website Assistant

Voice navigation is push-to-talk only. BearCat does not continuously listen in the background. When you deliberately use a voice feature, your browser or its speech recognition service may process the spoken command so it can be converted to text. BearCat may retain the resulting command text, success or failure status, and related technical diagnostics for navigation, accessibility, support, and website-performance reporting. BearCat does not intentionally store microphone audio recordings through the Voice Navigation feature.

Questions submitted to a Website Assistant may be retained with the Assistant response, the page or business context, and whether an audible response was requested. This helps the business understand common customer questions and identify information that should be made easier to find.

Local device storage

Some preferences and operational identifiers may be stored locally in your browser, including voice settings, dashboard preferences, recent commands, and anonymous visitor or session identifiers used to calculate repeat visits and conversion paths. Clearing your browser storage may reset these preferences and identifiers.

Client websites

BearCat may operate websites on behalf of business customers. Information submitted through a client website may be made available to that business so it can respond to inquiries, customer feedback, calls, requests, or other customer actions. The client business is responsible for how it uses information it receives about its customers, subject to applicable law and its own policies.

Google account connections

A business customer may choose to connect a Google account to supported BearCat features. Connection is optional and uses Google authorization. Depending on the feature the customer enables, the website may access Gmail data needed to produce an unread-message summary or Google Calendar data needed to create a confirmed booking. BearCat does not receive this access merely because a customer purchases a website.

Google-connected data is used only to provide the feature the customer requested. Customers can revoke the connection, and third-party Google services remain subject to Google’s own terms, availability, and privacy practices.

Service providers

We may use infrastructure, hosting, database, email, analytics, and other technology providers to operate BearCat Websites. Those providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.

Retention and security

We retain business inquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and meet legal or operational requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete inquiry information that is no longer needed, subject to legitimate business, security, and legal recordkeeping requirements.
